Unleashed Impala

An artistic beer brand inspired by the sounds of The Slow Rush, Tame Impala’s newest album.

Unleashed Impala appeals to the senses with both a visual representation and taste that will calm anyone's spirits. Brought to life through music, this beer was crafted by an inspired individual seeking an outlet for the passion felt through Tame Impala’s latest release, The Slow Rush. The art featured on the beer is designed to capture the feeling of some of his songs into a visual realm.

Tomorrow’s Dust

This melody bought out a hot desert feel into the artwork. The shaking maracas in the background bring the energy of an Eastern desert. Kevin Parker’s soothing voice is visualized as colorful wavelengths drawn to also represent the sand dunes of the desert.

Is It True

Is It True has a bit more of an upbeat tune to the song. I felt the drums calling out while listening and the art mimics the drum beats in an upward vertical motion. The beats start lengthened apart and speed up towards the end of the rhythmic grouping.

On Track

The song is my favorite on Tame Impala’s album. The piano and percussion combination in the music just glows so elegantly. The art created while listening to this song is inspired by the percussion sounds being dragged out in the chorus. They feel as though they are rippling. At the same time, the vocals feel groovy and organic.

Branding

The Unleashed Impala logo uses a sophistocated art deco typeface as its display. The label’s black and white contrast allows for a clear design from the shelves. The monochromatic colors of the label allow for future colorful artworks to be created to add onto this brand to represent more songs and more albums.

The beer will be available on tap at bars and restaurants as well as available online on the website to order. A few stores around the United States will be opened with the main one being in San Diego, where its brewed.
